The all-new 2021 Audi RS3 revealed

The ever-popular performance-orientated Audi RS3 makes a return with its third generation model update. As always it comes in two body types, the powerful and compact RS3 Sportback and spacious and sleek RS3 Saloon. 

The third-generation update sees the dynamic duo come in four specifications: the standard 'RS3' model, Carbon Black, Launch Edition and the top-of-the-range Vorsprung model. They come with the award-winning 2.5-litre TFSI (petrol) engine which offers 400bhp and a wicked 0-62 mph sprint of 3.9 seconds. 

The standard 'RS3' model comes with heated front sports seats, dual-zone climate control, Fine Nappa leather, adaptive cruise control, 19-inch alloy wheels, a 10.1-inch MMI Navigation Plus infotainment system, Audi's 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit and all-new RS Torque Splitter axle.

Specification Differences

Carbon Black

The Audi RS3 Carbon Black Edition comes with five-spoke 19-inch matt black alloy wheels, a glossy black front spoiler, a carbon fibre finish for the wing mirror housing, darkened Matrix LED headlamps and more robust side skirts and an engine cover.

Launch Edition

The next step up is called the Launch Edition and comes with lots of additional drivers aids. These include adaptive suspension, Audi Drive Select, the Comfort & Sound pack and Driver Assistance pack. You also get a glass panoramic roof, electric adjustable front seats, head-up display, painted red brake calipers, sports exhaust and lots of gloss black finishes to various areas within the interior. 

This model unlocks the limit on the top speed from 155 mph to 174 mph.

The top of the range model features everything from the previous Launch Edition model and benefits from an auto raising electric bootlid, a 360-degree camera and all-black 19-inch alloy wheels with a graphic print.

RS Dynamic Pack

An optional extra pack called the RS Dynamic pack features a couple more extras worth looking into. The Launch Edition and Vorsprung model already come with some of these extras, but the RS Dynamic pack gives you some exceptional additional spec.

You get RS ceramic brakes which hugely improve stopping power. Gloss anthracite grey painted brake calipers which look fantastic. Audi's own RS sports exhaust system, which features a better sound than the standard. And finally, unlock the top speed limit of 180 mph.
