The theoretical engine will have a 0-62mph of just 4.7 seconds, which is a great time considering it's shifting such a huge car. Here's where it gets a bit unreal - the Q8 Sport concept with hybrid technology has a claimed mileage of 745 miles. That would certainly make someone consider ordering this car over a 100%-electric vehicle. As you can see from the pictures, the Q8 Sport gets a different lick of paint than the regular Q8 concept from Detroit - this colour is called Krypton Orange. It gives the model a sporty feel, but other than paintwork, the entire model appears to be exactly the same as the concept we saw at the NAIAS in Detroit. This model is almost styled to look like an RS model, which is understandable as Audi wants to push this model as the top-level of sophistication, design and power.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width="stretch_row" css=".vc_custom_1478089989553{background-color: #383838 !important;}"][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_single_image image="4064" img_size="full"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_single_image image="4055" img_size="full"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]The engine isn't expected to have any turbo lag thanks to an innovative motorised fan effect that always keep the turbos spinning. Put your foot down, and you'll instantly have access to every bit of power that this monster can push out. Make sure you're pointing it in the right direction, because wherever it's going, it's going there fast. Let's not forget that this concept is absolutely huge, and it's clocking in specs and times similar (or even better) than those found on Audi's sportier models. The carmaker has seriously thought how to fit as much power as possible in to this model while also having a 37 mile electric-only range. The extended Virtual Cockpit that extends from the usual placement to place itself in the MMI infotainment system and even the controls for heating, fan speed, etc. appears to be called the Audi Virtual Cockpit Future. "The Audi virtual cockpit future is even more dynamic thanks to new functions and, with a resolution of 1,920 x 720 pixels, it displays graphics with more detail than ever before. In 'auto' display mode, the 12.3-inch TFT display offers generous space for maps, lists and additional information."[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_single_image image="4074" img_size="full" css_animation="right-to-left"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width="stretch_row" full_height="yes" css=".vc_custom_1488965598428{background: #383838 url(/uploads/2017/03/DSC_0281-copy.jpg?id=4066) !important;background-position: center !important;background-repeat: no-repeat !important;background-size: cover !important;}"][vc_column width="1/2"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2" css=".vc_custom_1478089614491{padding-right: 30px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.49) !important;*background-color: rgb(0,0,0) !important;}"][vc_custom_heading text="``Other than the Virtual Cockpit, all screens are touchscreen.``" font_container="tag:h3|text_align:right|color:%23f4f4f4" use_theme_fonts="yes"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text="If Audi do plan to bring the fantastic concept in to production next year, we hope to find out more details in the coming months.
