The sixth generation of the Honda CR-V SUV debuts later this year with a bolder appearance and class-leading levels of practicality and versatility.

Honda has officially disclosed the pricing and specifications for the upcoming CR-V e:HEV and e:PHEV models, following their debut in Europe this past May.

The upcoming sixth generation of the CR-V is set to make its entrance later this year, boasting a more daring visual appeal and unparalleled practicality. This is paired with outstanding connectivity and comfort features.

The highly regarded C-segment SUV will grant consumers the choice between a full hybrid (e:HEV) or, for the first time in the European market, a plug-in hybrid (e:PHEV) powertrain. These powertrains ensure an amalgamation of dynamic performance and efficiency across the lineup. Notably, the e:PHEV version offers an impressive all-electric range of up to 50 miles.

Beneath its fresh exterior design, the latest iteration of the CR-V presents increased dimensions compared to its predecessor. Its added width, length, and height, along with a 40mm longer wheelbase, play a pivotal role in creating more interior room. This results in an additional 16mm of rear legroom and a remarkable 18 percent surge in luggage capacity.

A more assertive front end design grants the CR-V a commanding presence on the road. The e:HEV and e:PHEV variants are easily discernible by their distinct grille designs. Sleek headlights and novel daytime running lights contribute to enhancing the overall visual allure.

At the rear, a vertical brake light and turn signal arrangement is a sophisticated take on the instantly recognizable CR-V taillight design.

Furthermore, the upcoming model will mark the debut of Honda SENSING 360 in Europe. This comprehensive safety and driver assistance system offers a panoramic perspective, eradicating blind spots around the vehicle.

The incorporation of this system aids in collision avoidance and lightens the load on the driver, underscoring Honda's ambitious goal of eliminating traffic collision fatalities involving their vehicles and motorcycles by the year 2050.

The new 2023 Honda CR-V SUV opens up for orders from Monday the 14th of August 2023.
