MG Releases More Information About The MG4 EV Extended Range

The MG4 EV Extended Range is available in the range-topping Trophy specification as standard which offers a range of up to 323 miles on a full charge.

MG Motor UK has unveiled the official pricing and details for its fresh MG4 EV Extended Range variant, a high-performing long-distance electric vehicle that boasts an impressive range of up to 323 miles on pure electric power.

With the capacity to travel up to 323 miles on a single charge according to WLTP standards, the MG4 EV Extended Range hatchback is now accessible starting from merely £36,495.

This launch underscores the brand's commitment to its 'Get More' ethos, presenting an electric vehicle that pushes boundaries while maintaining affordability compared to its primary competitors.

Featuring an innovative 77kWh battery, the Extended Range version marks a significant achievement for MG, representing their inaugural electric car surpassing the 300-mile range milestone on a single charge.

It additionally offers a rapid recharge capability of 10-80 percent in as little as 39 minutes on a 150 kW DC public rapid charger.

Beyond its extended range, the MG4 EV's reputation as a driver-centric car receives a boost with the Extended Range edition housing a more potent 180kw electric motor. This enhancement translates to improved performance, resulting in an accelerated 0-62mph time of just 6.5 seconds.

Built upon the established rear-wheel drive configuration and Modular Scalable Platform (MSP), the new model maintains the exceptional comfort and agile handling that have solidified the MG4 EV's standing as one of the most gratifying electric vehicles on the market.

The MG4 EV Extended Range retains all the signature attributes of the existing MG4 EV while arriving in the Trophy specification as standard. This ensures that the generous infotainment, driver-assistance technology, and spacious design elements remain fully inclusive.

Incorporating larger 18" alloy wheels and a sleek black two-tone roof, the latest MG4 EV boasts an upgraded visual appeal that perfectly complements the vehicle's modern, striking design.
