Now, the second-generation model comes packed full of serious improvements that make it more suited to urban environments, long journeys and those who are living in a digital, networked, world. The main thing that we feel stands out with the new exterior design in the three flat slits below the edge of the bonnet - a throwback to the Sport quattro, Audi's rally icon from 1984. It's also intentional that the new Audi A1 looks like the equally iconic Audi Ur-quattro when viewed from the side. Another improvement that we love is the new singleframe grille that make the front end of this car distinctive and fierce. For the first time, Audi will let you select a trim level for the exterior separately to the interior. So, you could have a basic, advanced or S line exterior (yes, you can also spec this car with a black styling pack) and then choose advanced, design selection or S line for the interior. Any combination of these should be possible. The breath of fresh air with this model is that it now comes with Audi's Virtual Cockpit and an improved infotainment system. While you'll get the 10.25-inch display and multifunction steering wheel as standard, you'll have to fork out some extra cash for the Virtual Cockpit (something we feel most people will do). Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will work seamlessly with the new system.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
